JD Vance and Rep. Michael Cloud introduce bill to eliminate all DEI programs in federal government
SUMMARY
Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) and Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) introduced the Dismantle DEI Act to eliminate all diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in the federal government. Co-sponsored by 20 Republicans, the bill would revoke DEI-related executive orders from President Biden, end DEI training, ban mandatory DEI pledges, block federal contracts to entities using DEI practices, and prevent educational accreditation agencies from promoting DEI policies.
