Musk’s X to close its San Francisco office
SUMMARY
Elon Musk’s social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), is set to close its San Francisco office and consolidate operations in the Bay Area by moving employees to Palo Alto and San Jose. CEO Linda Yaccarino described the move as "an important decision that impacts many of you, but it is the right one for our company in the long term." Musk had previously indicated plans to move the company's headquarters to Texas, citing opposition to a radical California law regarding the disclosure of students' gender identities by teachers. This follows a similar move by SpaceX, also owned by Musk, which recently announced its own relocation to Texas.
