Jordan Bardella Makes Plea to French Citizens Before Election: Reject Macronism, Embrace Patriotism

In a brief video shared on his X account, Bardella delivered a passionate speech addressing the entire nation as it prepares to vote at the end of the month and in early July.

His message? Reject the contemporary leftism of Macron and the globalism that has only caused turmoil and chaos in France, and instead, embrace French pride.

He outlined plans for immediate actions on pressing issues like energy costs, immigration, and security, and promised reforms in authority, public services, and retirement. Bardella called for unity against the extreme left, emphasizing that voting is crucial to shaping France's future and reclaiming national pride.

"My dear compatriots, France is at a moment of choice, and in a few days our vote can change everything. On Sunday, June 30th and July 7th, you will elect a majority for France and choose a new government for the country.

Following the unprecedented and historic victory of our movement in the European elections, you now have the power to take our ideas to the head of the country. That's why we need you to stay mobilized and turn this hope into reality. Another policy is possible. And it's up to you to decide.

If the National Rally wins its legislative elections, I will become Prime Minister. I will be responsible for forming the government, a government of national unity. In concrete terms, this means that in a few days' time, in the context of a cohabitation, we could take immediate action for France and the French people.

As Prime Minister, I'll be working in two phases. The first step will be to deal with the most urgent issues: purchasing power, in particular by lowering energy bills, getting our immigration policy back on track, and restoring order everywhere by taking action on security and criminal law.

These are your priorities, but they're also mine. To help you understand the real state of the public accounts, after so many lies from the Minister of the Economy, we'll take stock of the financial statements and the country's budget.

The second phase will be that of reforms: the return of authority, the recovery of our public services such as schools and healthcare, the implementation of a fairer retirement system than we have as we are committed to enable those who started working very early to retire in good health, the simplification of the economy and support for growth.

Faced with the danger posed by the extreme left, which attacks the forces of law and order, undermines our institutions, stirs up the embers of a new anti-Semitism, never has the words to condemn Islamist terrorism, and whose economic program would plunge France into the abyss, I have decided to reach out to all the patriotic and republican forces in the country.

To all French people, wherever you come from, whatever your past political choice, whatever your origin, let's get together. To abstain is to vote Mélenchon, to abstain is to strengthen Macron. So don't be intimidated by those who seek to frighten you, by caricatures, by lies.
