Pennsylvania State Police identify 3 victims shot at Trump rally
SUMMARY
The Pennsylvania State Police have identified three victims shot during the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The deceased victim is Corey Comperatore, 50, of Sarver, Pa. David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, were wounded and are in stable condition. Gov. Josh Shapiro has ordered flags to fly at half-staff in honor of Comperatore, whom he described as a hero. The gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was killed by a Secret Service sniper. Crooks used a semiautomatic AR-style rifle, which the ATF is tracing.
