Report: America Has Nearly 300,000 Double-Registered Voters
SUMMARY
A watchdog group, Fight Voter Fraud, has discovered nearly 300,000 voters registered in multiple states, with thousands who have voted at least twice in recent elections. The group’s report, released last week, identified 297,856 voters with dual registrations, including 3,170 who voted multiple times between 2016 and 2022. Florida and California had the highest numbers of double registrations, with over 37,000 and 36,000 respectively, and several other states also showed significant figures. The group's findings were based on comparisons between the National Change of Address system and state voter rolls, and the numbers could be even higher due to data limitations. Voting more than once is a federal crime, punishable by up to five years in prison or a $10,000 fine.
