Che Guevara’s Daughter Says She Should ‘Be There’ Fighting with Hezbollah in Lebanon
SUMMARY
Aleida Guevara, the daughter of Che Guevara, recently stated in an interview with a pro-Hezbollah outlet that she would like to join Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon to confront Israel. Guevara, a 64-year-old Cuban physician, expressed pride in Hezbollah’s actions against Israel, particularly celebrating the ceasefire agreement she believed Hezbollah had forced Israel into. She claimed to be ready to fight, stating her experience in military training and her capability as a good shot. Her remarks were made during an "anti-fascist" event in Caracas, organized by Venezuela’s socialist government. This is not the first time Guevara has voiced support for militant groups fighting Israel. In November 2023, after the Hamas attack on Israel, she offered to fight against Israel in Gaza, emphasizing her military training and willingness to participate.
