Manifesto Reveals Trans-Identifying Nashville Shooter’s Disdain For Christianity, Obsession With Racial Politics
SUMMARY
A manifesto released on Tuesday reveals that Audrey Hale, the Nashville school shooter who killed six people at The Covenant School in March 2023, harbored deep disdain for Christianity and an obsession with racial politics. The 90-page journal, obtained by The Tennessee Star, shows Hale’s anger towards her parents' conservative Christian beliefs, writing, “conservative religion gay sh-t makes them believe that the child they are given should stay that way.” Hale, who identified as male, also expressed frustration with biblical teachings, lamenting, “If God won’t give me a boy body in heaven, then Jesus is a f-ggot.” Her writings further reveal a fixation on racial politics, stating, “Brown love is the most beautiful kind,” and expressing hatred towards “white privileges.” Authorities withheld the manifesto for nearly a year, fearing it could be a “blueprint for total destruction” if made public.
