Suspect charged in stabbing death of 13-year-old girl in Florida
SUMMARY
A 13-year-old girl, Rose Dieujuste, was fatally stabbed in a what authorities are calling a 'random' attack, while heading to a friend's house in her apartment complex in Florida on July 4th. The Orange County Sheriff's Office charged 28-year-old Jerry Dorisme with first-degree murder in connection with the incident. Sheriff John Mina described the discovery of Rose's body, partially naked and barely alive, in a utility closet after her belongings were found abandoned nearby. Dorisme, who has a history of previous arrests including child abuse, currently does not have legal representation according to court records in Orange County.
