Illegal immigrant in Iowa pleads guilty to sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl
SUMMARY
Junior Manuel Dubon Benitez, an 18-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Waterloo, Iowa. Dubon Benitez entered the U.S. illegally in April 2022 as a 16-year-old and was released into the country during the Biden administration. He was arrested in February for the assault and accepted a plea deal for third-degree sexual abuse. He faces up to 10 years in state prison and is currently held by the Iowa Department of Corrections. ICE has requested he be handed over for deportation proceedings after serving his sentence.
