At least 9 wounded in "random" shooting at suburban Detroit splash pad; suspect dead, police say

At least nine people, including two children, were wounded in a shooting at a splash pad in Rochester Hills, a Detroit suburb. The 42-year-old suspect, who had no known connection to the victims, later died by suicide following a standoff with police. The victims, aged 4 to 78, were treated at various hospitals.
