John Fetterman and wife Gisele are hospitalized after Democratic senator rear-ended car on the highway

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) and his wife, Gisele, were hospitalized after a car crash in northern Maryland on Sunday morning. Maryland State Police reported that Fetterman rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala while driving a Chevrolet Traverse near Hancock, Maryland, close to the Pennsylvania and West Virginia borders. Both were transported to War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, where Fetterman was treated for a bruised shoulder before being discharged. Despite his past health issues, including a stroke in 2022, the couple is reportedly doing well and are back home in Braddock, Pennsylvania. The crash investigation remains ongoing.
